Pastor Joseph was scheduled to return to Haiti Wednesday morning. Unfortunately due the election results being announced that day, unrest and rioting has basically turned Port-au-Prince into a stand-still. The airport in Port-au-Prince has not been opened since Tuesday evening, but I have contacted Pastor Joseph who hopes to be able to return this weekend if not later today.
We were successful in loading him up with two suitcases of clothes and school supplies for orphans as well as an additional suitcase of medical supplies. He is very grateful for all the support he received on short notice to continually provide for the great need among the orphans in his churches.
Pastor Joseph is returning with his children, so please continue to pray for safe travel and for the reunion of his family after several months apart. As soon as we receive an update, we will let you know.
